Chater Bowls Club has now closed for the winter but we would like to say thank you to all our members for a great season and to each of the local clubs we played friendlies with.

Our thanks also go to The Fox for two excellent friendlies and to The Good Companions Club and Edith Weston Ladies who we hosted this summer. It was wonderful to have both clubs join us and we were very happy to welcome some new members from these events.

Although we are closed to bowling, you may see lots of activity in the club house and grounds as we install a new kitchen and, after this very hot rain free summer, a water storage system that we hope will be filled up by the time we start playing again in April…! We are also having some electrical works done and installing two ceiling fans to give our members a more comfortable time in the club house next summer.

If you are interested in joining the club in 2027 please click on our page and use the form to get in touch.

Best wishes.
