Interested In An Indian Food Tasting Session?

Hello to all my fellow neighbours, as many of you know I run “Jaimi’s Spice Kitchen” – where I offer curry cooking classes within the comfort of your own home. 

To give you all a taster of what my food is like, I was thinking of holding a food sampling session on my front garden so you are able to get a taste of the kind of dishes you could learn to make during my classes. 

This would be a new experience for me too, but I thought it would be a lovely way to share my passion, give you all a taster and meet all of our local village people 😊. 

I would really appreciate, so I can gauge interest – if you could leave a reply below or send me a message/call to let me know if you would be interested in popping by my sampling session so I can decide on whether to go ahead and plan one, or not.

The ‘Pop Up’ Mulled Wine stand will again be appearing alongside the Panto Performers in the car park at the Fox this Friday 15th December. Hosted by Lin Burrows & the amazing Adele this year, we will be selling Jason’s finest mulled wine, festive stars made by the AgeUK Charity ‘Men & Women in Sheds’ and taking donations by card & cash for this annual extravaganza.

Hot mulled wine available from 6.30pm, Panto starts at 7pm prompt(ish)… See you there 🎄✨🎪

Indian Cooking Classes Available In Your Home

Local resident Jaimini Tailor is offering do home curry cooking classes. She will visit your home and teach you to cook Indian meals in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Picks Barn Café, Lyndon – now open to all

Monday 5th June was the official opening date for the new café – all are very welcome.

The team has spent the last few weeks making changes and running tests – and now their new offerings are ready to go!

The Café is offering breakfasts, lite bites, lunches and refreshments with specials and seasonal delights.

We wish Steph & the team good luck with the launch and seeing the café flourish.

Successful Garden Club Plant Sale

We are delighted to report that the Plant Sale at The Fox on Saturday was really well attended and a great success.

A big thank you to the people who worked hard behind the scenes to grow, deliver & arrange the stock for the day, and to those who came along to support the event.

For folks who missed it, here’s a video of our Garden Club Chairman – Shaun Ryan – introducing the Sale & all the plants on offer😁…

We have set up an honesty box to give good homes to any remaining plants; you’ll find these available to purchase in the new outdoor covered courtyard area of The Fox; please give generously😊 & thanks again for your support.

Why not join us this evening at 6.30pm for The Fox tradition of carols around the Christmas tree with members of Chater choir.

This will be held in our marquee with the doors open for ventilation – so wrap up warm. Alternatively treat yourself to a mulled wine or hot chocolate. The Fox 🦊 team
