Had a text from Sky this afternoon confirming the issue is resolved. Called to be told, after testing the line, that the line is working and it’s our router that’s now at fault. Apparently the new router will arrive tomorrow. We’ll see, but can anyone affected confirm if their service has been restored, especially if your broadband provider is sky?
Had the same issue with sky. Have called and an engineer booked to visit tomorrow afternoon to resolve… won’t hold my breath they fix it but once fixed then to work on compensation and not the £1.20 per day or the £15 goodwill they have offered so far!
If we were ‘full fibre!’ we wouldn’t be in this mess!!
