A Community Speedwatch initiative will be taking place on Edith Weston Road from 4 July for a two-week period, following concerns raised about speeding in the area.
The scheme has been arranged in partnership with Rutland County Council and will help gather information on vehicle speeds, supporting efforts to improve road safety within the village.
We are now looking for volunteers to help with the Speedwatch sessions. Volunteers would be asked to give approximately one hour of their time each day during the two-week period. No previous experience is required, and training will be provided by Rutland County Council at the end of June.
A suitable monitoring location has been agreed with Rutland County Council, and all volunteers will receive the necessary guidance and training before taking part.
If you are interested in volunteering or would like to find out more, please contact the Parish Clerk; clerk@northluffenham.org.uk
