More information on the proposed Play Equipment is below
This is the ramp design but we intend on having the sides painted green and it will not have any large branding on it. The Skate Ramp is 8 metres long and 5 metres wide
The final zip wire length will be proposed to the Parish Council prior to the next meeting taking place. Under consideration currently in a size range from 20 metres to 30 metres in length. At the widest point, which is the platforms at either end, it is 3 metres wide.
The basket swing full area, allowing for swinging space, will be 7 metres in length by 3 metres wide.
The climbing frame will be 4 metres long and 3 metres wide.
Has Cllr Marson interviewed the villagers who live within sight and sound of the ramp?
Thank you for your comment. I have written to all residents who overlook the Oval either from the front or the rear of their property and given both my telephone number and email address by way of contact. Between Paul Cummings and myself we have spoken to and had email conversations with some, but not all residents. This is the process that we have agreed to undertake on this matter. If you would like to speak to me directly then please contact me and I will be happy to talk to you. Many thanks.
Hi Linda, the ramp is made of wood and we have been given an approximate height of 4ft. The reason that it is approximate is because the ramp style does not sit onto a concrete or tarmac base, it sits on blocks which gives a slight variance depending on any slope of the ground. I have asked the potential supplier to confirm the exact height of the handrail.
Can you give more details about the skate ramp. is it totally made of wood?
What is the total height with the handle rails added to it at its highest point?
