Election – May 2023

It has been released today from RCC that there is not a contested election for the Parish Council.

As only 4 applicants applied, this means there will be no election however it does mean there is enough councillors to form a parish council with the availability for co-option, after May, for anyone who may have a change of heart and wishes to become a Parish Councillor. There are 4 seats available for co-option.

The election for Ward Councillor will take place due to 4 nominees for 2 Ward Councillor vacancies. The poll will take place on Thursday the 4th of May between 7am and 10pm.

Would you like to become a Parish Councillor?

If you would like to become a Parish Councillor for North Luffenham in the May elections please download the pack attached, fill it out and take it to the RCC Returning Officer.
