The bonfire itself is a bit reduced from previous years, and so if you have any unwanted, unpainted, wood that could help build it up that would be appreciated.
If you want to donate wood, please feel free to take it to the Oval, and place it by the large shelter. It will be placed onto the pyre tomorrow

Hi Everyone
It will not have escaped your notice that temperatures are falling rapidly. Therefore, based on the arctic conditions for last years panto, it must be pantomime time again!
This is just a quick reminder that the first meeting for this years pantomime will take place at 7.00 tomorrow (Tuesday) night at The Fox. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in. No acting ability is required (you should know this if you saw last years panto!) I would love as many people to be involved as want to be, either as actors (luvvies!!) or “behind the scenes”.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night.
Simon

The main focus of the clear up was the removal of the Ivy on the stone wall of The Oval. The before and after photos demonstrate the improvement. The area around the restored village pump was also cleared up and looks much better. Efforts will be made in the future to prevent regrowth, possible damage to the wall, and keep the village pump an attractive feature.
