A local farmer has reported that a number of sheep have died, most likely due to helminth infection. This is probably due to them being in contact with dog waste. This can be prevented by six monthly worming of dogs.
Please could owners of dogs using the Woodland Walk not let their dogs go on the arable area adjacent to the walk.
Because of the resignation of a North Luffenham Parisn Councillor, a vacancy exists in the office of Councillor for North Luffenham Parish Council.

I have just noticed these chalked crosses on a property in the village. They could have been there for ages and are perfectly innocent. However, they can signal something to those with ill-intent. Please be vigilant. I have reported it to 101 who will see if there have been any related incidents.

Some eight months ago the siting of benches around the circular walk of Glebe Rd, the Settings, Moor Lane and near South Luffenham was proposed. Finally the Benches have been sited and provide a place to rest awhile, especially those less able, and enjoy the countryside.
North Luffenhan and South Luffenham Parish Councils would like to thank the residents of North and South Luffenham and the organisations for their generous donations that have made this possible.
Thanks also to Ash Bates for his help in securing the benches to their bases
